As chairman of Alpaca Fiesta 2018, I am pleased to inform you that the International Alpaca Association - AIA and the Commission for the Promotion of Export and Tourism from Peru PROMPERU, are organizing this event to be held in Arequipa-Peru, from October 22nd to 27th, 2018.
Alpaca Fiesta is the biggest event specialized in alpaca in the world, where we bring together all the alpaca value chain in one place. Its main objective is to disseminate and promote the use of alpaca fiber and textile products in the global market through the promotion of the brand Alpaca del Peru.

This premier event presented different activities from the National Alpaca Contest, the first National Fleece Contest, the first International Shearing Competition, Vicuña ChaCCU, commercial activities, such as international business exchange with Peruvian suppliers and international buyers, booth displays, the Alpaca Summit which includes conferences, seminars and workshops, tours to the biggest textile mills, the first National and International Young Designer contests, catwalks and our premiere night with the most exclusive fashion show.
As mentioned we are organizing the first International Shearing Competition, where we want to extend a special invitation to your members and associates to enroll and participate, since it is drawing a lot of interest already.
